Since our move to NorCal, Adventure Dad and I have not been able to go out on dates as often as we'd like. However over the summer we had the opportunity to do so. We had no idea where we wanted to go, we kind of drove around and then decided to visit Santana Row.
It was my first visit to Santana Row, I had no idea what to expect. After walking around for a bit we decided to enjoy an appetizer at Hot Tamales Cantina. It's a fun Mexican Cantina/restaurant decorated with true "Lucha Libre" {which is Wrestling in Spanish} accents. The ambiance was perfect to have a conversation without having to shout over the music in addition the service was excellent!
The nachos and drinks, were delicious and then after we finished eating the server brought us some freshly made cotton candy. I am a big fan of cotton candy so I was excited to have it all to myself! :D
I was so happy to have enjoyed a nice evening out with Adventure Dad and find a new place we both liked to visit again soon.

Looks like a total blast! I am making a mental note that it has been a long time since we had a date night... better get on that!

ReplyDeleteWe had a great time, we just talked and walked around the mall. But it was perfect. All we really wanted was to just be with eachother and have a conversation without interruptions. :D
